Position Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and committed Research Engineer Assistant, with a Master's degree (5 years of higher education) or a higher diploma, to contribute to our research projects on the removal of heavy metals via electrochemical methods. This position is offered for a duration of 12 months. Your main mission will be to perform electrochemical tests and to characterize the products, requiring expertise in electrochemistry with a good understanding of electrochemical techniques and their fundamental principles, especially regarding the cathodic elimination of heavy metals.
Profil recherché :
Profile:
Master's degree or higher, specialized in chemistry or physical chemistry of materials, with a preference for a specialization in applied electrochemistry.
Practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
Material characterization (X-Ray Diffraction, Infrared Spectroscopy, Potentiometry, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, etc.).
Material synthesis and analytical skills to establish links between the results of different characterization techniques and assess the materials' effectiveness.
Preparation and modification of electrodes. Knowledge of electrochemical deposition and stripping voltammetry in the field of electrochemical removal of heavy metals. Practical knowledge of electrochemical material characterization techniques, including electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, etc.
Ability to design, execute, and analyze electrochemical data independently.
Self-reliance, proactivity, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
