Engineer in Finite Volume Numerical Schemes
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deliver scalable and performant scientific codes based on finite volume schemes.
- Capacity management and benchmark optimization.
- Participate in group meetings and present your work to peers.
- Be exposed to large-scale computer systems and supercomputers, as well as emerging technologies.
- Take full ownership and responsibility for delivering your projects.
- Assist in improving the team and supporting PhD students.

Profil recherché :
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience with low-level programming languages such as C/C++ or Fortran.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with source code management practices like git, repo, and code reviews.
- Ability to independently understand complex problems and devise efficient, robust solutions.
- Experience with development tools and Continuous Integration.
- Strong knowledge of numerical methods, particularly finite volume schemes.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for solving problems in innovative ways.
