Poste :
Job Summary:
As a full-stack engineer, you will use your knowledge in front-end (such as HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (Angular / React.js / Vue.js), XML) and back-end (such as, Python, Node.js, PHP, C#), as well as your expertise in databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and Linux to design, develop and maintain web applications. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement user-friendly interfaces, integrate APIs, optimise application performance and security.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and responsive web and mobile applications.
- Integrate interactive web data visualisations using (d3.js, three.js etc…)
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards (TDD, Micro-Services).
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Enhance application performance while ensuring scalability.
- Support researchers in building online experiments.
Profil recherché :
Requirements:
- Engineer's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React / Angular / Vue.js).
- Proficiency in Python programming and relevant frameworks (such as Django, Flask) and other JavaScript frameworks dedicated to backend development (Node.js / Nest.js, Express.js etc…)
- Expertise in databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL MongoDB)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (such as Azure, GCP and AWS)
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex requirements.
- Expertise in UI/UX design and desktop/mobile application development will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Unity and 3D character creators is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Rigour, independence, organisation and good writing skills
- Sense of public interest, strong analytical and summarising skills
- Ability to participate in several projects as required
- Ability to work as part of a team, good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills (in French and English)
