IT/OT Engineer - Tanger

Poste :

Responsible :

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Provide end-user support services, including but not limited to Office applications, desktops, laptops, printers and mobile phones
• Provide support, conduct maintenance, resolve incidents and implement change for local IT infrastructure services and assets, requiring hands-on interaction. Including, but not limited to datacenter racks, cabling, network and server equipment.
• Provide support, conduct maintenance, resolve incident and implement change for local OT infrastructure services and assets, requiring hands-on interaction. Including but not limited to CCTV/OCR equipment, biometric readers, radio equipment and VMTs
• Support the regional IT service delivery team when they require hands-on onsite IT/OT support for incident and change management
• Install and replace end user and IT/OT infrastructure hardware devices
• Resolve incidents within agreed service levels
• Support during and outside of office hours

Accountable for :

• End-user support services to agreed service levels
• Providing support and maintenance of local IT/OT infrastructure requiring hands-on intervention, to agreed service levels and in collaboration with the regional IT service delivery team
• Local IT / OT assets to stay within warranty and vendor support

Consulted about :

• Local IT initiatives in the terminals
• New technology and infrastructure used to support terminals operations
• Terminal operational constraints
• Local regulatory requirements

Profil recherché :

Qualification;

• Engineer diploma + 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven expertise in switching and Networking
• Proven expertise in servers administration
• Communicative –able to translate between technical and user language
• Problem solving skills
• English proficiency
• Good documentation
• Team player
