Are you a passionate and experienced Java Cloud Developer seeking a challenging and rewarding role? In this pivotal role, the primary objective is to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust applications using Java and cloud technologies. You will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. This multifaceted position will require a blend of technical skills and collaborative spirit. Your daily tasks will involve:

• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement requirements 
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code 
• Conduct through testing to ensure robustness and reliability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
•  Create detailed design documentation and specifications.

Profil recherché :

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering is essential. This should include a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, familiarity with databases and cloud architecture, and a proven track record of working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes tools. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GCP Dataflow (Java), GCP BigQuery, Workflows, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions, is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with Terraform, YAML config files, GitLab, CI/CD, Maven Build Tool, and Docker will be a significant advantage.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep knowledge of data engineering principles, including working with Java language and Oracle Database, as well as using Apache Beam framework. A solid background in cloud architecture, particularly within GCP environments, is crucial for navigating the complexities of this role. We value candidates who are not only technically proficient but also possess strong communication skills and a desire to achieve ambitious objectives, contributing positively to team dynamics.

Success in this role requires the ability to work effectively in a SAFe Agile environment. Candidates should be comfortable with a collaborative approach where the business communicates directly with developers, fostering a culture of transparency and problem-solving. A proactive mindset, with the capability to raise concerns and propose solutions, is highly valued.

Essential skills for this position include:

• Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes tools.
