The company is developing an industrial park in Jorf Lasfar dedicated to manufacturing battery components for electric vehicles. Spanning over 200 hectares and representing an investment of 20 billion dirhams, this industrial park aims to produce 120,000 tons of NMC precursors, 60,000 tons of LFP components, and 30,000 tons of black mass annually.

COBCO's production will support the manufacture of battery materials for over one million electric vehicles each year.

Poste :

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring the PSM system (which is a standard issued in 1992, it helps to cover the manufacturing of explosives and processes involving threshold quantities of flammable liquids and flammable gasses (10,000 lbs), as well as 137 listed highly hazardous chemicals).
• Monitor performance related to industrial risks. 
• Structure applicable PSM elements ( which are Employee Participation; Process Safety Information (PSI); Process Hazard Analysis (PHA); Operating Procedures).
• Conduct audits on the implementation of applicable PSM elements ( which are Employee Participation; Process Safety Information (PSI); Process Hazard Analysis (PHA); Operating Procedures).
• Track the implementation of actions derived from the audit.
• Monitor the completion of process hazard analyses (which is a systematic effort designed to identify and analyze hazards (PHA, ATEX Study, Danger Study, HAZOP, etc.) associated with the processing or handling of highly hazardous materials; and also a method to provide information which will help workers and employers in making decisions that will improve safety).
• Consolidate the progress of actions derived from various studies. 
• Define & implement practices in terms of managing firefighting & Emergency Response Plan systems.
• Train emergency & firefighting focal points.

Profil recherché :

• Maintenance engineer, industrial, or process engineer with field experience.
• Minimum of 05 years of experience in all aspects of EHS, particularly PSM. 
• Additional training in PSM such as NEBOSH or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in hazard analysis methodologies (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, ATEX, Hazard Study, etc.).
• Proven experience with fire detection and protection systems, including NFPA and APSAD standards.
• Lean six sigma certification would be an advantage.
