Job Title: Research Engineer in Bioprocesses and Environment
Job description:
The African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Laayoune is seeking applications for a full-time Research Engineer in the field of Bioprocesses and Environment.
The candidates should hold an enginering degree in Bioprocesses and Environment or related field
Evidence of research excellence is expected. Strong French and English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Key duties:
Successful candidate is expected to:
- Have a strong expertise in Biomass treatment/valorization through anaerobic/aerobic bioprocesses
- Have a strong expertise in biofertilizers formulation and application
- Have a good experience in life cycle analysis of pollutants in the environment
- Have a good record of publications
Profil recherché :
Criteria of the candidate:
- Engineering degree in Microbiology, Bioprocesses and Environment or related field from a well known University
- Strong experience in in the field of Bioprocesses and biofertilizers formulation
- Knowledge on Life cycle analysis of pollutants in the environment
- Experience in conducting fieldwork
- Ability to generate new ideas, links, and to build upon existing ideas to generate good concepts and solutions
- Experience in supervising undergraduate students
- Team spirit
