Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Full Stack Python Software Developer seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where innovation is key? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in the heart of Sala al Jadida, Morocco, within the exciting field of Information Technology. The primary objective of this position is to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust software applications using Python and related technologies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functionality of our software, meeting the evolving needs of our clients, and contributing to the overall success of our company. A further objective is to lead and mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Continuous improvement through innovation and best practices implementation is essential to succeed in this role.

As a Senior Full Stack Python Software Developer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Developer will work as part of a developer pod in a scrum team on various software development projects
• Developer will be expected to complete user stories on a bi-weekly/monthly sprint basis at the advisement of their scrum master / product owner(s)
• Designs automated software solutions in accordance with enterprise leading practices and design principles
• Assists in the collection and documentation of solution design requirements
• Builds and tests automation processes including integration and unit testing
• Analyzes and resolves automation software issues where required
• Participates in peer review of solution designs
• Supports business process owners during user acceptance testing
• Identifies and communicates risks associated with process automation candidates
• Supports skills transfer by mentoring newly trained resources on best practices and development techniques
• Supports production deployment processes and performance testing. 

Profil recherché :

The ideal candidate will possess a Bac +5 or higher degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (such as Electronics). A strong academic background, demonstrating a solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and software development methodologies, is crucial for this senior-level position. Extracurricular activities related to coding, software development projects, and participation in hackathons will be considered highly favorably.

We are seeking a candidate with 7 to 10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of success in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality applications. Experience working with Python in a professional setting is essential. Prior experience as a senior developer, leading and mentoring team members, is a significant asset. Hands-on experience within a dynamic and challenging environment is valued, as is exposure to agile development methodologies. A detailed and comprehensive portfolio showcasing prior projects will allow for a better understanding of your capabilities and potential contributions to the team.

To excel in this role, you must possess a diverse skillset encompassing both front-end and back-end development.

• Python : Core knowledge and experience requirement of coding in Python for frontend and backend applications. Knowledgable about writing python applications for ETL, Analysis, and Visualization purposes. Knowledgable about libraries such as Pandas, Geopandas, H3-py, GDAL, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Requests, Keras, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn

•  Javascript / HTML / CSS: Required to be able to develop and deploy frontend webpages, dashboards, and UI's for our internal tools and applications. Knowledgable about developing database driven dashboards, and creating mapping interfaces using libraries such as Leaflet and Mapbox.

• SQL (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MariaDB) : Have the ability to efficiently query data, optimize databases (indexing, partitioning, etc) and a good understanding of advanced database features (subqueries, joins, window functions, etc.). Familiar with Database architectures, schema design, and configurations.

• On-Prem & Cloud Platform Architectures (Openstack, VMWare, Google Cloud) : Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure tools and pipelines for Development and/or DevOps roles. Familiar with Dev, UAT, Prod environment deployments using GitLab CI/CD, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Airflow

• Geospatial data analysis: Familiar with Geospatial analysis concepts and workflows. Ability to read, manipulate, and analyze geospatial files programatically using Python and mapping tools such as qGIS or MapInfo. Knowledgable about working with geospatial files within a database using tools such as PostGIS.

Other Skills/Nice to Have: 

• Familiar with Linux operating systems for administrative, management, and maintenance purposes
• Familiar with agile framework (i.e. PSM, Lean, or SAFe certification)
• Familiar or strong thirst to expand telecom domain-specific knowledge
• Excellent executive presentation and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to design algorithms and databases, debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
• Strong team player, with ability to get things done on a tight timeline
• Autonomous, organized , self-managed and has a strong sense of decision of making
• Proficient with JIRA and Confluence tools (scrum, kanban, etc.)
