• Collection of all accounts in the portfolio following the defined collection strategy and accountability of aged receivables as per defined metrics/SLAs
• Implementation of credit/account management, ascertainment of the payment patterns and, if necessary, implementation of corrective measures.
• Accountability for debt and cash targets achievement on a quarterly/monthly basis
• Full compliance with all associated internal and Sarbox controls
• Timely and correct dunning process + handover of insolvent customers/ customers unwilling to pay to legal collections
• Participation in month end reporting closing activities in alignment with ICMP
• Detection and help for process improvement opportunities for collection + system improvements
• Provide guidance, coaching and work-shadowing to new starters and established administrators
• Where technical knowledge gaps have been identified through the review process, the job holder will work with the Administrators and the respective Team leader to aid in the closure of that gap
• Review of existing work processes, reworking where appropriate and update of work instructions to reflect new processes
• Responsible for all aspects of training ( new starters and refresh training)
• Responsible for new process implementation within the teams
• Bilingual – Canadian French and English
• University Level education (desirable)
• Proven track record in meeting targets and SLA’s.
• PC literacy, particularly in MS Office (Windows NT).
• Demonstrate a customer focused orientation
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
