Entity description:
The UM6P Student Affairs is responsible for the development and implementation of various programs and services focusing on the non-academic aspects of student life at the university, in addition to the actions carried out by other cross-functional entities.
Among the UM6P Student Affairs missions to encourage student involvement are the development of associative, cultural and artistic projects to improve living and interaction conditions on campus, and to participate in the creation of a common UM6P identity.
Position Overview:
The Student Engagement Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing engagement strategies that enhance student involvement and satisfaction. This role combines traditional student engagement responsibilities with a strong focus on leveraging technology to create innovative solutions for communication, event management, and student support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Digital Engagement: Utilize technical skills to enhance digital platforms, including the development and maintenance of the UM6P Student Affairs platform that hosts important notices, events, and resources.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze student engagement data to inform program development and measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
• Design a range of methods, activities and events to collect student voice feedback –including new technology solutions (e.g. digital technology, virtual learning environments and social media);
• Monitor student enrichment and engagement activities, and evaluate the impact on students, through the use of feedback and data;
• Seek out and develop enrichment opportunities through external partnerships.
Work across the university with other enrichment entities to improve the student experience at the college.
• Platform Development: Collaborate on the design and implementation of digital platforms to ensure they are comprehensive, user-friendly, and effectively meet the needs of the student community, enhancing their overall experience and engagement.
• Event Technology Management: Oversee the integration of technology in event planning and execution to streamline processes, increase participation, and enhance attendee experiences.
• Innovation Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and digital trends, proposing and implementing innovative tech solutions to continually advance student engagement strategies.
Profil recherché :
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with web development tools and technologies.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in leading project teams and coordinating cross-functional efforts.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing user experience and engagement.
• Ability to stay updated with emerging tech trends and integrate them into existing systems.
• Ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
