Overview:
The UM6P Vanguard Center is seeking a highly skilled and creative 2D/3D Graphic Designer to join our dynamic research department. This role is crucial for visualizing complex research findings and creating engaging, informative and learning graphical content to support our diverse range of research projects and training activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of visual design work that demonstrates proficiency in both 2D and 3D graphic design, with the ability to communicate complex ideas through visual storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with research teams to understand project needs and develop graphical content that effectively communicates research findings and concepts.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models, animations, and visualizations to aid in the explanation of scientific and technical data.
- Design engaging graphics, infographics, and illustrations for research papers, presentations, and publications.
- Manage the visualization of complex data sets to make them accessible to a broader audience, including the general public and non-specialist stakeholders.
- Ensure all graphic materials are in line with university branding guidelines and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and tools in graphic design to continuously improve the quality of visual content produced by the department.
Profil recherché :
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in 2D and 3D design, including proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Maya, Blender).
- Experience in creating visual content for scientific or technical fields is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary research teams.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
