New Feature on ReKrute: Custom Questions When Creating Job Postings

Creating a job posting is more than just writing a job description.
To help narrow down candidates, many recruiters also add custom questions: language level, availability, experience with a specific environment, notice period, technical knowledge.
These questions are often useful from one recruitment to another. However, until now, they had to be re-typed for each new posting.
ReKrute now makes this step easier with a new feature designed to save recruiters time.
Your old questions become templates
When creating a new job posting, as soon as the recruiter reaches the custom questions step, ReKrute automatically suggests questions already used in their previous postings.
They can simply click in the field to find their most recent questions, or start typing a few words to search directly in their history.
The search is also case-insensitive, to help find a question more easily even if it's not typed exactly the same way.
The goal is simple: avoid starting from scratch for every recruitment.
Multiple choice or open-ended: everything is automatically retrieved
The feature doesn't just retrieve the question text.
When a suggestion is selected, the form is automatically pre-filled with the information already used:
- The type of question, open-ended or multiple-choice.
- The question title.
- The predefined answers for multiple-choice questions.
The recruiter only needs to check the information, adapt it if necessary, and confirm.
A question used on a previous posting can thus immediately become a template for the next one.
Less re-typing, more consistency
Beyond saving time, this new feature also helps standardize recruitment practices.
A company that regularly recruits similar types of profiles can more easily reuse its pre-selection questions and maintain consistency from one posting to another.
For example, a question about English level, current notice period, or experience with a specific technology can be found and added in a few clicks.
The recruiter is, of course, free to modify the question or its answers before publishing the posting.
A small change that makes a big difference
In a recruitment process, a few minutes saved at each step can quickly add up to several hours.
This is especially true for recruiters who regularly post new openings and use custom questions to better qualify their candidates.
With this new feature, previously created questions no longer disappear with the old posting: they become a real library of reusable templates.
Less repetitive typing, fewer mistakes, and a smoother posting creation process.
The key takeaway
At ReKrute, platform updates have a clear goal: simplify recruiters' daily work and allow them to focus their time on tasks where their expertise brings the most value.
With automatic suggestions for custom questions, creating a new job posting becomes even faster: find your old questions, select the one you need, and let ReKrute pre-fill the rest.
Your best questions are already there. Now you just need to reuse them.
