Created in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Horses (SOREC) has as its main missions the supervision of breeding, the development of horse racing, and the management of horse betting in Morocco.
By virtue of its mission, SOREC oversees equestrian societies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeder associations, and ensures the improvement of national equestrian infrastructure.
In addition, SOREC is committed to a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and revitalizing the horse market.
SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 breeding stations, and 11 equine breeding promotion centers, in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations of the kingdom.

Reporting to the Sector Division, your mission will be to ensure the well-being, hygiene, and safety of the horses, by providing their daily care in hospitalization, in compliance with health protocols and the instructions of the veterinary team.
As such, your main activities will be:
Care and management of horses
- Provide daily care, feeding, handling, and monitoring of the general condition of hospitalized horses.
- Report any anomaly or emergency to the veterinary team.
Hygiene, safety, and biosecurity
- Ensure the well-being, hygiene, and safety of the horses.
- Apply health protocols and ensure cleaning, disinfection, and waste management.
Assistance with clinical activities
- Assist the veterinary team during treatments, examinations, and transport of horses.
- Prepare the necessary equipment and accompany clients during the loading and unloading of horses.
Rehabilitation and horse activity
- Participate in work and rehabilitation sessions for horses according to the protocols established by the veterinary team.
Maintenance of facilities
- Ensure the maintenance of the clinic's infrastructure and equipment, reporting any malfunctions and ensuring compliance with cleanliness and safety rules.
As a potential candidate:
- You have a diploma of high school level or higher with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the equine world.
- You have knowledge of horse behavior and safe handling.
- You have the ability to be on call and on duty as needed by the service.
- You have a sense of service and cleanliness.
