Created in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse (SOREC) has the main missions of supervising breeding, developing horse racing and managing horse betting in Morocco.
Through its mission, SOREC oversees horse racing companies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeders' associations, and works to improve national horse racing infrastructure.
In addition, SOREC is committed to a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and boosting the horse market.
SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 breeding stations, and 11 equine breeding promotion centers, in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations of the kingdom.

Reporting to the Business Communication and Public Relations Manager, your mission will be to develop and execute SOREC's communication plan in line with the company's business strategy, in order to enhance and promote the company's image.
As such, your key activities will be:
Development of the communication plan
- Participate in the development of the communication strategy in collaboration with the Communication Department.
- Ensure the consistency of the 360 digital and sponsorship communication plan with the company's strategy and vision.
- Choose appropriate media and content to convey key messages, ensuring consistency with the company's image.
- Develop a calendar of communication actions, taking into account the company's key moments.
Internal and external partnerships
- Ensure coordination between the communication unit and SOREC's internal units by integrating their needs into the overall communication strategy.
- Collaborate regularly with the department's various service providers to launch and complete company projects.
- Represent the company and maintain a network of journalists and media specialized in the equine sector.
Budget management
- Prepare calls for tender according to internally approved processes.
- Manage and monitor the budget allocated to communication and ensure its effective use.
- Develop a detailed specification for each communication action carried out by the company.
Creation of materials and content
- Create materials, content, and communications that comply with the company's graphic charter.
- Be proactive in choosing messages and content and promote the company's image through various formats.
Documentary watch and trends
- Conduct documentary research and identify best practices in communication.
- Integrate the company's culture and values into communication actions.
As a potential candidate:
- You have a Bac +4/5 degree in communication, journalism, or equivalent, with 2 to 5 years of experience in creating communication materials and managing multiple projects.
- You have skills in strategic and visual communication.
- You are capable of rigorously managing public relations, brand image, and projects.
- You demonstrate a high level of skill in negotiation, communication, managing emergency situations, and crisis management.
- You are responsive, rigorous, and have excellent interpersonal skills, while also being proactive and possessing a strong sense of organization.
