About the position:

In the constantly evolving telecommunications sector, mastering the regulatory framework is essential to support the development of Maroc Telecom's activities and secure its projects.

Reporting to the Regulation Department, you will be responsible for anticipating and analyzing legislative changes and continuously updating the repository of regulatory requirements. Your key role is to translate regulatory news into clear and structured requirements within the mapping.

Job :

• Regulatory Watch: Actively and continuously monitor regulatory and standard changes in the telecommunications sector (laws, decrees, orders, decisions, etc.).
• Impact Analysis: Decipher and analyze decisions from the regulator and new laws related to the telecommunications sector and consumer law.
• Update Mapping: Update the mapping of regulatory requirements as new regulations or changes appear.
• Operational Translation: Translate obligations into operational actions to be implemented by the relevant departments, and formalize these new obligations clearly to facilitate their adoption by compliance teams.
• Summary Notes: Write analysis and alert notes for management and internal teams to anticipate changes.
• Contributions and Positions: Analyze texts, decisions, and regulatory consultations, and prepare Maroc Telecom's positions and contributions.

Required profile :

Education: Higher education (Master's degree - Bac+5) in Telecommunications Law, Business Law, Public Business Law, or an engineering profile with a strong legal interest.
Experience: Proven experience of 3 years or more in a similar role (within a telecom operator, a specialized law firm, or a regulatory authority).
 

Key Skills:

• Mastery of analyzing and interpreting legislative, regulatory, and normative texts.
• Excellent command of the regulatory and legislative framework for telecommunications and consumer law.
• Synthesis skills, rigor, and excellent ability to organize and structure data.
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders (operational departments, regulator, etc.).
• Intellectual curiosity and foresight regarding emerging technological challenges.
• Ability to propose arguments for regulatory matters and defend the company's interests during consultations.
• Perfect command of French and English (written and spoken).
