Job :
As part of strengthening our teams, we are looking for a Purchasing and Import Operations Officer.
This person will oversee the administrative follow-up of purchases, coordination of imports, and compliance of operations, in liaison with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and banking partners.
Main responsibilities:
- Verify the compliance of purchase orders: purchase orders, supplier quotes, and supply-related documents.
- Manage and track documentation related to purchases and imports.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing and inventory management.
- Coordinate the logistical follow-up of imports with the transit department, carriers, and various stakeholders.
- Organize shipments and monitor customs clearance operations.
- Establish and monitor documentary credits with banking partners.
- Prepare a weekly report for the Purchasing Department on the progress of imports.
- Communicate upcoming payment deadlines to the Finance Department.
Required profile :
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in logistics, international trade, purchasing/procurement, or equivalent field. A Master's degree (Bac+5) in one of these specialties is an advantage.
- Operational proficiency in PORTNET and good knowledge of customs procedures and import documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Sage X3 is an asset.
- Rigor, attention to detail, and excellent organization skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
