Totalisator Management Officer (M/F) - Rabat

Created in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse (SOREC) has the main missions of overseeing breeding, developing horse racing, and managing horse racing games in Morocco.

By its mission, SOREC ensures the supervision of horse racing companies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeders' associations, and works to improve national horse racing infrastructure.

In addition, SOREC is committed to a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and boosting the horse market.

SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 breeding stations, and 11 equine breeding promotion centers, in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations in the kingdom.

Job :

Reporting to the Operations Department, your main mission will be to ensure the operational functioning of the totalisator by coordinating with the Client Pole and the Directorate of Technologies and Information Systems. As such, your main activities will be:

Support for settings and the system
- Perform basic settings for the GAMMA Totalisator according to business guidelines;
- Test and validate new versions of terminals or systems before deployment;
- Execute provided test scenarios and report results to the relevant teams;
- Manage and monitor new updates in production after testing;

Support for coordination and communication
- Provide support to operational teams in the use of the Totalisator;
- Handle incidents/anomalies and report them to the support team if necessary;
- Collaborate with internal teams (client pole, DTSI) for the proper follow-up of requests;
- Update monitoring indicators and participate in report writing;

Support for training and assistance
- Assist new users in learning the system;
- Share usage instructions with the teams;
- Provide support in case of technical problems during races or events;
- Propose solutions to prevent the recurrence of incidents/anomalies;
- Manage critical operations: Injection of stakes, management of versions, and authorizations;
- Raise awareness of new features among teams and communicate incident reports;
- Contribute to interventions during crisis periods;
 

Required profile :

As a potential candidate:
You have a 2-3 year degree in Management, IT, or equivalent with 2 to 5 years of experience.

Required skills:
- Knowledge of the totalisator's operation and its technical environment.
- Ability to adapt to on-call duties.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information.
- Excellent command of office software: Microsoft Office.
