Project Manager IT/Business Analysis (H/F) - Rabat

Founded in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse (SOREC) has as its main missions the supervision of breeding, the development of horse racing and the management of horse racing games in Morocco.

Through its mission, SOREC ensures the supervision of horse racing companies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeders' associations and works to improve national equestrian infrastructure.

In addition, SOREC is committed to a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and boosting the horse market.

SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 breeding stations and 11 equine breeding promotion centers, in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations of the kingdom.

Job :

Reporting to the Directorate of Information Technologies and Systems, your main mission will be the complete management of IT projects, from defining business needs (Business Analysis) to technical management and solution implementation (IT Development). You will be the interface between business teams, the IT department, and any external providers. As such, your main activities will be:

Business Analysis (MOA)

- Collect, analyze, and formalize user functional needs;
- Write expressions of need and specifications;
- Participate in defining processes and propose improvements;
- Organize business workshops, monitor testing and acceptance of deliverables;
- Support users in change management;
 

IT Development (MOE)

- Contribute to the technical design of solutions with internal or external teams;
- Ensure the monitoring of development, integration, and deployment into production;
- Guarantee compliance with deadlines, budget, and technical quality of deliverables;
- Monitor project risks and provide regular reporting.
 

Required profile :

As a potential candidate:

You have an engineering degree (Master's degree) in IT, with 5 to 8 years of experience in managing IT projects in an IT Development/Business Analysis environment.

Required skills:

- Management of IT projects in IT Development/Business Analysis environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies: V-Cycle, Agile, Scrum.
- Functional analysis and design of information systems.
- Good knowledge of application architectures.
- Use of modeling tools such as UML and BPMN.
- Practice with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.).
- Strong sense of commitment, organization, collaboration, and respect for confidentiality.
- Analytical mind, rigor, and attention to detail.
