A leading national agribusiness company is looking for its Compliance Manager to strengthen the Legal & Compliance team in Casablanca

Job :

Main Mission

Ensure ethical and legal conduct of the entire organization by implementing an integrity and compliance program, based on the directives and guidelines of Senior Management. 

ACTIVITIES (NON-EXHAUSTIVE)

• Design an ethics and compliance program and ensure its implementation:
• Establish compliance standards based on internal policies and guidelines, but also in line with current standards, laws, and regulations
• Ensure the drafting of ethical documents (e.g., compliance charters, regulatory provisions...) and communicate them to all employees of the Group
• Align local standards with global standards and ensure that the strictest requirements are systematically applied, regardless of the regulatory framework
• Develop effective ethics and compliance rules and the necessary procedures to ensure their application
• Actively involve management to leverage integrity messages and maintain a high level of awareness
• Continuously provide advice and guidance to the company on compliance issues and challenges (including on required approval processes)
• Promote, in collaboration with relevant management members, ethical behavior by
• ensuring that compliance criteria are included in annual objectives
• Establish an annual training plan on ethical conduct within the organization: business code of conduct, ethics hotline, guidelines on anti-corruption policy, non-compete clauses, ... and ensure that integration and annual updates on compliance standards and business practices are carried out
• Provide assistance in evaluating the adoption of compliance at the level of all Group teams as well as at the process level
• Provide ongoing support on compliance matters to Cosumar Group Management
• Ensure the necessary audits and controls for the proper application of compliance and ethics rules:
• Identify and assess compliance risks and inform top management
• Align the compliance risk mitigation plan with Senior Management
• Conduct self-assessments to monitor the state of the compliance program within departments and ensure that a self-assessment is carried out each year
• Regularly communicate the progress of the compliance program to the relevant managers
• Ensure that allegations of misconduct are reported in a timely manner to the ethics hotline
• Maintain ongoing monitoring of new practices in terms of regulation and compliance:
• Ensure legal monitoring and follow regulatory developments
• Actively follow market trends, the regulatory environment, including business practices
• Actively engage in industry associations and other compliance-related stakeholder groups
• Organize and actively participate in compliance meetings with other organizations and share best practices
• Manage the operating budget:
• Approve and monitor operating budgets and take corrective actions in case of deviations

Required profile :

The ideal candidate must hold a Compliance position in a large organization and be capable of managing all processes.

Job Requirements

• Education: Master's degree (Bac+5) in Law, Finance, or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 5 years with managerial responsibility and proven experience in compliance, gained in an international environment, in a company (industrial) or within a specialized firm.
• Professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is a plus.
• Languages spoken: Arabic, French, and English.
