Job :

We are looking for an English-Speaking Accountant for a company specializing in seed selection, based in Agadir.

Job Objective

To manage the accounting and administrative activities locally, while ensuring effective coordination with the head office and compliance with current regulations.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise general office operations.
• Manage the purchase of office supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and produce reports.
• Handle relations with banks.
• Manage supplier contracts and vehicle insurance.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain complete accounting records (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).
• Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices (accounts payable), including the payment process.
• Process employee expense reports.
• Allocate expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports.
• Record fixed assets and depreciation, and prepare corresponding reconciliations.
• Account for prepaid expenses and their amortization.
• Maintain bank account records and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare cash flow and payment forecasts.
• Perform financial analysis and monthly closing entries.
• Declare VAT and withholding taxes on suppliers.
• Make declarations to organizations such as social security, tax authorities, etc.
• Participate in audit work by providing necessary support.

Required profile :

• At least 2 years of experience as a sole accountant, ideally in the seed sector.
• Experience in maintaining complete accounting records (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).
• Experience with import and export operations.
• Excellent level of English in writing, speaking, and reading (mandatory).
• Experience with an ERP system (an asset).
• Excellent command of Excel (mandatory).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work independently and implement processes effectively.
