Supplier Accountant - BENSLIMANE

We are assisting an industrial company based in BENSLIMANE in the search for its Supplier Accountant.

The position is based in Benslimane.

Job :

Reporting to the Financial Control and Reporting Manager, you will ensure the management and reliability of supplier operations, in compliance with internal procedures and current accounting and tax standards.

You will specifically be involved in:

• Supplier accounting: recording, allocation, and tracking of local and foreign supplier invoices.
• Payment tracking: checking due dates, monitoring payments and disbursements.
• General accounting: entering accounting entries and reconciling bank transactions.
• VAT: tracking deductible VAT accounts, identifying discrepancies, and making corrections.
• Closures: participating in monthly closing and meeting closing deadlines.
• Account monitoring: preparing periodic statements and verifying the reliability of accounting information.
• Control & compliance: filing, archiving, and traceability of accounting documents.
• Continuous improvement: contributing to the improvement of procedures and the optimization of accounting processes.
• External relations: liaising with suppliers, banks, accountants, auditors, and government agencies.
   

Required profile :

Profile sought:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (Bac+2/3) in Accounting, Management, or Finance.
• Proven experience (Min. 3 years) in a similar role, ideally in supplier accounting.
• Good command of the fundamentals of general, supplier, and tax accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting and tax procedures and standards.
• Rigor, organization, and a strong sense of control.
• Ability to meet closing deadlines and ensure the reliability of accounting information.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with various stakeholders.
