As part of strengthening its teams, Jameel Motors Morocco is recruiting an Experienced Accountant for its Toyota brand, within its Rabat branch.
Contract: Permanent (CDI)
Location: Toyota Rabat Branch
Reporting to: Chief Accountant
Availability: Immediate
Your missions:
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will manage the accounting operations of the branch, ensuring the accuracy of accounts, compliance with tax and regulatory obligations, and the application of internal procedures.
In this role, your main tasks will be:
- General accounting: ensure the entry, control, and monitoring of accounting operations, as well as the justification and analysis of accounts.
- Accounts receivable: ensure the follow-up of customer accounts, control of payments, account reconciliation, and tracking of receivables.
- Accounts payable: control and record supplier invoices, monitor payment deadlines, and reconcile accounts.
- Taxation: monitor tax obligations, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.
- Reconciliations and controls: perform bank reconciliations and consistency checks necessary for account accuracy.
- Accounting closings: participate in monthly and annual closing tasks, particularly in account justification and preparation of inventory entries.
- Account monitoring: analyze discrepancies, identify anomalies, and contribute to their resolution.
- Reporting: prepare accounting statements and reports necessary for monitoring activity.
- Compliance: ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and current legal and tax provisions.
Required profile :
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3/5) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
You have proven experience in general accounting, ideally gained in the automotive sector. Experience within a large organization or an accounting firm is also appreciated.
Technical skills
- Very good command of general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Good command of tax obligations and corresponding declarations.
- Proficiency in accounting closing tasks and account justification.
- Good command of office tools, especially Excel, as well as ERP systems.
Personal qualities
- Rigor, organization, and attention to detail.
- Analytical skills and ability to identify and resolve anomalies.
- Autonomy, responsiveness, and adherence to deadlines.
- Sense of responsibility and respect for confidentiality.
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
Languages
- Arabic and French: fluent proficiency.
- English: an asset.
