The position:
As part of strengthening our sales team, we are hiring a Sales Advisor based in Casablanca. As a true ambassador of our brand to construction professionals, you will advise our clients on product choices, build lasting relationships, and directly contribute to increasing our market share.
Your main mission will be to develop and retain a client portfolio by providing quality technical and commercial advice, and by ensuring the achievement of the sales objectives assigned to you.
Your main responsibilities:
• Welcome, advise, and guide clients in choosing products that suit their needs and projects;
• Actively prospect for new clients (construction companies, developers, artisans, resellers) and identify promising projects;
• Prepare quotes, negotiate commercial terms, and manage order follow-up until delivery;
• Retain the existing portfolio through regular follow-up and close relationships;
• Monitor the market, competition, and price changes;
• Coordinate with logistics and administrative teams to ensure customer satisfaction;
• Track customer accounts and contribute to debt collection in coordination with the finance department;
• Regularly report on your activity and results to the Sales Management.
The ideal background for this position starts with solid training at a Bac +2 level or higher. We favor diplomas obtained in the fields of commerce, sales, or export. A deep understanding of sales techniques and commercial strategies is essential to excel in this role.
First professional experience of 3 to 5 years is required. This background should have allowed you to develop ease in customer relations, an ability to negotiate and close sales, ideally in a similar commercial environment. Experience in the metallurgy, steel, or construction sector would be a considerable asset, allowing you to quickly understand the technical and commercial issues specific to these fields.
To succeed in this role, several skills are essential. Excellent communication and proven negotiation skills are paramount. You must demonstrate autonomy, organization, and great proactivity to effectively manage your client portfolio and achieve your goals. Good knowledge of the construction market and the metallurgy sector is a definite plus. Proficiency in computer tools, especially CRM software, will make your daily work easier.
