Asset Control Officer - Casablanca

The PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION SERVICES DEVELOPMENT COMPANY S.A. is a Local Development company whose missions include participating in the management and development of Public Distribution Services, particularly through the following services:

• Support in the financial and financial engineering field, and in mobilizing and managing financing;
• Monitoring and evaluating the management and performance indicators related to Public Services;
• Management of financing debts related to the distribution activity;
• Harmonization of common rules and processes concerning the management of Public Services.

Our company supports players in the electricity, drinking water, and liquid sanitation distribution sector, particularly the newly established GCTs (Groups of Local Authorities) and SRM (Regional Multiservice Companies).

Job :

We are looking for 2 positions with the profile of "Asset Control Officer" who have experience in mapping and GIS; and proficiency in mapping & GIS software and AI tools.

Main tasks:

Ensure the monitoring, control, and validation of data related to public service assets, ensuring their updating, consistency, traceability, and integration into the SPC-CS Geographic Information System (GIS), in order to have a reliable and up-to-date view of the state and evolution of the assets; specifically:

• Participate in the development, enhancement, and updating of the SPC-CS Geographic Information System (GIS), in relation to data concerning structures, networks, and equipment;
• Participate in the mapping of asset and performance indicators and in the production of dashboards for monitoring the evolution, condition, and performance of assets;
• Monitor anomalies and shortcomings found in asset data and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions;
• Verify the consistency between documentary and cartographic data and information provided by operators, and identify any inconsistencies or missing data

Experience in the distribution sector is a plus

Required profile :

Required education and skills:

• State diploma "Bac + 5" (Master's or State Engineer) or State-recognized - Specialization: Geomatics, GIS, or cartography or equivalent.
• Experience of more than one year in the requested specialization is desired.
