Founded in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse (SOREC) has as its main missions the supervision of breeding, the development of horse racing and the management of horse betting in Morocco.

By virtue of its mission, SOREC ensures the supervision of horse racing companies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeders' associations and ensures the improvement of national equine infrastructure.     

In addition, SOREC is committed to a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and stimulating the horse market.

SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 breeding stations and 11 equine breeding promotion centers, in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations in the kingdom.

Job :

Reporting to the sector unit, your main mission will be to participate in the optimization of business performance through the analysis and use of sector data.

To this end, your main activities will be: 

1. Collect, centralize and analyze data from different sources within the sector to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and potential risks.

2. Actively participate in the creation and implementation of BI solutions and decision-support tools including key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring sector activities.

3. Develop and implement dashboards and dynamic reports to provide business teams with a clear and up-to-date view of operational and financial performance.

4. Propose corrective actions and recommendations based on data analysis to improve the profitability, efficiency, and competitiveness of the sector.

5. Implement performance monitoring processes to adjust action plans based on the results obtained.

6. Participate in the optimization and modernization of systems to improve data performance, security, and interoperability across the sector, while acting as the interface between the sector and the DTSI.

7. Promote a data culture within the sector by raising awareness among teams about the importance of data in decision-making and by training them in data analysis tools and methods.

8. Ensure regular reporting by effectively communicating on business performance results and providing actionable insights for sector management.
 

Required profile :

As a potential candidate, you:

• Have an Engineering degree in statistical data analysis with relevant experience, ideally in a similar role;
