Join a dynamic player in the Furniture / Decoration sector as a DEMAND & SUPPLY PLANNING. Based in Casablanca, this opportunity places you at the heart of flow management, an essential mission for the smoothness of our operations.

The main objective is to optimize the match between forecast demand and supply capacities. It is about ensuring optimal product availability while controlling stock levels, thus contributing directly to customer satisfaction and company profitability.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze and interpret sales data to build reliable demand forecasts.
• Develop coherent supply plans in collaboration with the purchasing and logistics teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning and inventory management.
• Identify and propose continuous improvements to planning processes.
• Manage unforeseen events and adjust plans according to market fluctuations.

Required profile :

Main mission

The Demand & Supply Planner ensures demand forecasting and planning of supply and distribution flows to guarantee the availability of furniture in stores or online, while optimizing logistics costs and stock levels.

Main responsibilities

Demand Forecasting: Develop sales forecasts taking into account market trends, seasons (e.g., back-to-school, holidays), and commercial campaigns.

Import Planning: Organize orders from international suppliers, anticipating production and sea/air transport lead times.

Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels in warehouses and points of sale, avoiding overstocking and stockouts.

Distribution and Allocation: Define the distribution of products among different stores or sales channels.

Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, logistics, and finance to align plans.

Performance Monitoring: Analyze discrepancies between forecasts and actual sales, propose adjustments.

Required Skills

Data Analysis: Ability to interpret sales history and trends.

ERP and Planning Tools: Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or specialized retail tools.

Import/Export Knowledge: Understanding of incoterms, transit times, customs constraints.

Communication: Ability to work with local and international teams.

Customer Focus: Ensure product availability to maximize customer satisfaction.

Profile Sought

Master's degree (Bac+5) in logistics, supply chain, or international business.

Experience in retail, ideally in furniture or bulky goods.
