ORH Assessment, a recruitment firm specializing in the field and a subsidiary of the LMS Group, is assisting a leading Moroccan group, mainly active in the agri-food sector and also present in several other sectors such as distribution and real estate, in recruiting its Group Financial Director
Job :
Reporting to the Presidency, the Group Financial Director is responsible for supervising and coordinating the financial function across its entire scope. He/She acts as the preferred financial contact for the Presidency and contributes to strengthening governance, the reliability of financial information, and the performance of the various subsidiaries.
Your main responsibilities
1. Supervise and support the financial functions of subsidiaries
Supervise the Financial Managers/Directors of the various subsidiaries and production sites
Support teams in skill development and reinforce good financial practices
Ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of financial closings and statements
Ensure the implementation and adherence to the Group's governance rules and financial procedures
Provide expertise on accounting, tax, financial, and management control issues
2. Structure Group financial reporting
Implement and manage consolidated financial reporting to provide the Presidency with a comprehensive and consistent view of the perimeter's performance
Harmonize indicators, processes, and management tools across the different entities
Analyze performance, variances, and key financial risks and make necessary recommendations
Produce financial analyses to inform the Presidency's decisions.
3. Lead strategic financial projects
Support investment projects and evaluate their financial impact
Lead or coordinate projects with tax implications, particularly those related to shareholders
Oversee grant, financing, and other support scheme files
Contribute to the Group's structuring, development, or transformation operations
Involve in any strategic project requiring financial, accounting, or tax expertise.
Required profile :
Education & experience
Master's degree (Bac+5) in finance, accounting, audit, or business school
Certified public accountant or a profile with very high-level accounting expertise
Significant experience of at least 12 to 15 years in finance, audit, accounting, or financial management
Experience gained in various business sectors and ideally in a multi-company / multi-site environment
Confirmed experience in supervising financial departments
Skills & qualities
Excellent command of accounting, taxation, and financial analysis
Solid knowledge of Group consolidation and reporting issues
Mastery of financial governance and internal control issues
Ability to analyze diverse economic environments and models
Leadership, foresight, and ability to support and develop teams
Strong analytical, synthesis, and recommendation skills
Sense of confidentiality, rigor, and autonomy
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with the Presidency and high-level stakeholders.
