Mission:
The Pre-Sales Engineer's mission is to support the sales team in increasing B2B adjacent revenues (Presentation of Orange offers, needs qualification, feasibility studies, Design and development of technical solutions [Architecture, technical file] for the proposed offers).
Responsibilities:
•Supports the sales force in identifying and qualifying customer needs:
- Visits the client to identify needs with the relevant level of detail.
- Leads or participates in needs definition workshops with the client's business representatives.
- Produces a proposal that integrates technical and financial consistency elements in the Fixed and ICT domains.
- Proposes and designs, jointly with B2B engineering, the target architecture for customized solutions.
- Writes technical response documents for tenders.
- Guarantees technical consistency, particularly in terms of service quality commitments.
•Supports the sales duo during presentations as the client's technical contact:
- Involved in presentation preparation and technical argumentation.
- Presents the architecture elements.
•Promotes OMA's positioning on ICT streams (Security, Cloud, TOIP, IoT) to clients/prospects.
•Ensures the handover with the project manager and the B2B DTSE engineering team during the Deployment Kick-off meeting, sharing the details of the planned architecture, operational and technical constraints, and committed SLAs.
•Maintains technological watch in ICT fields by working jointly with colleagues from B2B engineering, Orange Group experts, and technological partners (publishers, integrators, and service providers).
- Academic background: Telecommunications or Computer Science Engineer
- Experience: 5 years and more in Technical environments (Networks, Telephony, Security, Cloud..)
