Job :

As part of its industrial activities, our client is recruiting a Logistics Engineer specialized in industrial logistics and internal logistics.

The position involves optimizing material flows, warehouse management, and logistics operations within a production environment.

Main missions:

Warehouse and Internal Flow Management

• Plan and optimize the organization of warehouses, material circulation routes, forklift paths, and line-side storage areas.
• Define and improve internal logistics procedures, warehouse management processes, and material distribution standards.
• Ensure the management of internal flows for raw materials, consumables, semi-finished products, and finished products.
• Coordinate the supply of production lines and ensure material availability to avoid production interruptions.

Shipping and Finished Product Management

• Manage shipping operations for finished products, including packing, stacking, and container loading.
• Supervise loading operations and ensure compliance with quantities, batches, and container specifications.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure deadlines are met and shipments are compliant.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement

• Optimize the use of logistics equipment, pallets, racks, internal transport means, and protective packaging.
• Improve logistics efficiency, reduce handling-related damage, and control logistics and labor costs.
• Implement Lean Logistics principles and standardize industrial logistics processes.
• Identify operational dysfunctions and propose continuous improvement actions.

Required profile :

Profile sought:

• Bachelor's to Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial logistics, internal logistics, Lean Logistics, or warehouse planning.
• Good command of in-plant material flows, warehouse management, and production line supply.
• Experience in finished product shipping, packing operations, and container loading.
• Experience in the automotive, industrial, battery, new energy sectors, or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills in French and English.
