Job :

 

The main goal of this position is to ensure the accuracy and precision of the quantitative estimates needed for project completion. This involves guaranteeing the profitability and technical feasibility of upstream operations by providing reliable figures for strategic decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Detailed analysis of plans, specifications, and technical requirements to identify the quantities of materials and labor needed.
  • Carrying out precise measurements for various construction and manufacturing elements in the metallurgy field.
  • Developing quotes and cost estimates in collaboration with technical and sales teams.
  • Participating in resource optimization and the search for economical technical solutions.
  • Monitoring technological and regulatory changes to adapt measurement methods to industry developments.
  • Managing and tracking quantitative data throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile :

To excel in this role, a Bac +2 level of education is required. Training in fields such as project management, technical studies, R&D, or specializations focused on works, sites, or construction would be a major asset.

The company is looking for a candidate with professional experience ranging from 3 to 10 years. This experience level ensures mastery of measurement techniques and a deep understanding of the challenges in the metallurgy and steel industry.

Key skills for success in this position include:

  • Rigor and great precision in analysis and calculation.
  • Excellent understanding of technical drawings and engineering documents.
  • Ability to use measurement software and CAD/DAO tools.
