The nacelle is at the interface between the engine and the aircraft. It is a complex system that performs multiple functions managed in a harsh environment (extreme temperatures, dimensional constraints) and must remain as light as possible. The nacelle channels the engine's airflow and protects it. It contributes to the aircraft's braking during landing (thrust reversers) and to the attenuation of the aircraft's noise emissions. The nacelle must also ensure easy access to the engine for maintenance.

Job :

Reporting hierarchically to the UAP Manager, you will be responsible for:

Producing:

• Organizes and manages their department, and in particular, publishes the standard documents outlining the distribution of tasks and responsibilities within their team;
• Establishes workload forecasts in line with program requirements and ensures their execution;
• Maintains constant communication with support functions to integrate their sector's actions into their activities, in order to meet requirements and anticipate events;
• Monitors operating budgets and productivity parameters to meet economic objectives for hourly rates;
• Provides their teams with the necessary support to resolve complex or difficult cases;
• Ensures the training and retraining of their personnel on technical evolutions and ensures they are correctly applied;
• Implements general work tools and methods to increase the effectiveness of actions (cost, deadlines, quality, safety, and environment);
• Maintains constant contact with other sectors of the Unit to optimize methods, resources, and the organization of manufacturing, treatment, and inspection sites in a timely manner;
• Reports on the work of their department, and if necessary, prepares a report on major events;
• Leads a continuous improvement process for all personnel by actively participating in the Unit's action plan;
• Implements and maintains a balanced scorecard for all activities in their sector.

Managing with Quality:

• Participates in the implementation of the Quality Management System (EN9100).

Required profile :

• Holds an Engineering degree with proven experience in a similar role;
• Good knowledge of mechanics;
• Good knowledge of team management;
• Perfect command of the French language, both written and spoken;
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of SAP ERP is a plus.
