Job :

The RBS Student Life Manager works under the administrative authority of the Director of Student Experience. The position is mainly focused on developing student life and campus activities, as well as strengthening and diversifying services offered to students. It is not limited to organizing recreational activities but also aims to foster student engagement, their personal and collective development, and the growth of their sense of responsibility and citizenship.

In carrying out their duties, they work closely with the various departments and divisions of the school and university, as well as with numerous internal and external partners.

They are the preferred point of contact for student organizations and support them in designing and implementing their activities, in coordination with the school's cross-functional services.

Main responsibilities:

Student association and engagement

  • Structure, develop, and coordinate student association life within RBS.
  • Support student organizations in designing and executing their projects, particularly through methodological advice, identifying partners, and seeking funding.
  • Design and organize training for students involved in student organizations and associations.
  • Prepare and lead meetings aimed at improving the effectiveness, coordination, and impact of student initiatives.
  • Participate in the reflection and implementation of systems to recognize student engagement.
  • Promote and support student and association initiatives among administrative and teaching staff.
  • Ensure that Student Life initiatives contribute not only to campus animation but also to student development, skills enhancement, and civic education.
  • Review and, after hierarchical approval, approve, reject, or request revisions of event and activity requests initiated by students.
     

Development and revitalization of Student Life

  • Implement the action plan of the Student Life strategic roadmap.
  • Be proactive in designing and developing projects to revitalize campus life and enhance the student experience.
  • Stay informed about developments, practices, and innovative initiatives in the field of Student Life.
  • Identify, strengthen, and develop collaborations with various internal and external partners.
     

Administrative and financial management

  • Oversee, analyze, and control expenses related to Student Life activities.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and the administrative and financial regularity of student actions and events.
  • Monitor the smooth running of events and activities organized by students.
     

Communication and support to management

  • Assist and advise management in areas within their scope of activity.
  • Represent management, where applicable, to internal and external partners.
  • Design and prepare visual materials needed for communicating various Student Life events and initiatives.
  • Manage communication and engagement on social media dedicated to Student Life, mastering key social media tools and practices.
  • Design, prepare, and distribute the monthly Student Life newsletter.

  • Experience in event management, ideally in organizing and coordinating student events.

Profile

  • Master's degree (Bac + 5) in management, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a higher education environment.
