Job :
As part of the development of our client, an industrial player specializing in the manufacture of domestic and industrial electrical cables, we are looking for a Production Manager to lead and optimize all production activities.
Your main responsibilities:
Lead and organize production activities according to orders and industrial objectives.
Supervise the various manufacturing processes: wire drawing, stranding, extrusion, insulation, and packaging.
Ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines.
Manage and supervise production teams (workshop managers, team leaders, and operators).
Optimize industrial performance, reduce waste, and control raw material consumption.
Monitor performance indicators (OEE, productivity, scrap rate, equipment availability).
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to ensure operational continuity.
Implement a continuous improvement approach and propose actions to optimize industrial processes.
Required profile :
Master's degree (Bac+5), ideally an engineer in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the manufacture of electrical cables or in metallurgy.
Good knowledge of wire drawing, stranding, and extrusion processes.
Proven experience in managing production teams.
Proficiency in industrial performance management tools and continuous improvement methods.
Leadership, rigor, reactivity, and results orientation.
