Job :

As part of the development of its Financial Department, SOTHEMA is recruiting a Senior Tax Manager responsible for overseeing and securing all of the company's tax activities.

The mission notably covers tax compliance, risk management, regulatory monitoring, and anticipation of changes in tax legislation, with particular attention to their impacts on the company's activities and operations.
The position requires a senior profile, exclusively specialized in taxation, with in-depth expertise in tax regulations and significant experience acquired in demanding and structured environments. Experience within a multinational group or a large company is highly desirable.
 

Main responsibilities:

• Lead all tax matters for SOTHEMA and ensure their compliance with current regulations.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of new tax laws, provisions, and standards, and analyze their impacts on the company's business.
• Secure the company's tax returns and obligations.
• Analyze the tax impacts of operations and support the Financial Department in its decision-making.
• Manage and follow up on tax audits, inspections, and any potential disputes.
• Identify and prevent tax risks related to the company's activities.
• Participate in tax optimization while strictly adhering to current regulations.
• Coordinate relations with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants.
• Prepare analyses, reports, and tax memos for the Financial Department.
• Support the implementation of new tax provisions within the company.
 

Required profile :

• Master's degree in Taxation or higher education diploma with in-depth specialization in taxation.
• Professional experience of at least 5 to 10 years in a role exclusively or mainly dedicated to taxation.
• Desired experience within a multinational company, a large group, or a structured industrial environment.
• Very good knowledge of recent developments in tax legislation, new laws, and regulatory provisions.
• Proven experience in managing tax audits and complex tax issues.
• Experience in the industrial or pharmaceutical sector is a significant asset.
