Key responsibilities
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into integration and data solutions.
• Integrate, configure, and validate software components, including DataMiner modules, drivers, APIs, and database connections.
• Develop, test, and maintain APIs and interfaces connecting internal and external applications.
• Design and maintain data flows, data transformations, and integrations between systems.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures, as appropriate.
• Support data quality, consistency, and reliability through validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support development, pre-production, and production environments, including platform administration and incident resolution.
• Automate installation, configuration, testing, and deployment processes using scripts and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with system and network teams to ensure compatibility, security, and performance.
• Maintain existing software components and implement enhancements in response to business needs.
• Document technical solutions, data structures, deployment procedures, and integration guidelines.
• Contribute to improving integration, data management, testing, and deployment practices.
Required skills and experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in software development, software integration, and working with databases.
• Knowledge of API design, development, testing, and integration patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL; knowledge of database design, SQL, query optimization, and data integrity.
• Programming and scripting experience with Python and Bash/Shell; familiarity with PHP and JavaScript is an advantage.
• Experience designing or supporting data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformations.
• Knowledge of data quality, data validation, and troubleshooting across connected systems.
• Experience with Linux administration, preferably Debian or Red Hat/CentOS, and familiarity with Windows Server.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices; experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with virtualization and deployment on VMware, including OVA packages, and container hosting.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, access controls, and permissions.
• Ability to work across the software development lifecycle, from requirements and implementation through testing and deployment.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with DataMiner, including its components, drivers, APIs, and element structures.
• Familiarity with data integration or orchestration tools and database monitoring.
• Experience supporting production services and troubleshooting application, API, database, or data-flow issues.
• Familiarity with FTP, SSH, scheduled jobs, and Linux permissions.
