The support department at Iniks is the group taking care of delivering all support services on behalf of our customers to end users and partners.
Skill Set Required
-BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus a minimum of 2+ years experience in leading projects for large scale service provider network infrastructures.
-Previous working experience in telecom companies, either operators or vendors of monitoring systems (at least 4+ yrs).
-Solid background and experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting (3+ yrs). Ideally should have previous working experiences in RF planning, troubleshooting, quality, etc. departments of Telecom operators or in Product Management/Professional Services/Training/Support departments of network equipment vendors.
- Strong team playing attitude, with proven ability to interface with disperse team.
-System related technical requirements : Windows XP, Linux Redhat, SQL.
-A Core Network Knowledge focused on architecture is welcome including LTE, R4, UMTS, GPRS & GSM/CDMA as well as a knowledge about the main telecom protocols like CS/PS, Gb, Gi, Gn/Gp, MAP, INAP, ISUP, SIGTRAN, SIP, BICC, MEGACO.
-Access Network (Abis, Iub,Iur) and IP domain (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SMTP) knowledge is definitely a plus for this position.
General concepts of Radio Network Optimization.
Knowledge of RNO and LTE market standards is a plus.
Main duties
-Manage our customer deployed solutions inside the end-customer network.
-Work with our customer developers and operational team to ensure the deployed solution meets SLA.
-Technical Hand-on mentality to perform Level 1 & Level 2 support without direct supervision.
-Deliver daily, weekly and monthly reports on request.
-On call as per SLA for technical troubleshooting, performance and stability of the delivered solution inside the customer Network.
-Create and maintain updated and detailed Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
-Work through technical issues reported into Support by end-customers and 3rd party vendors.
-Manage and respond to trouble tickets reported into Support organization and escalate product issues to Level 3 Support.
-Technical support for implementation of our customer products in a variety of established markets (Cable, Wireless, and Wireline).
-Technical support to end-customers providing remote access and phone support assistance with the installation, deployment and management of products and applications.
-Any other duties deemed necessary to meet project objectives.
Conditions
We are looking for an engineer who could ideally perform this assignment as independent contractor. But a permanent local contract can be offered as well.
- Starting date: Immediate.
-Available to travel at short notice.
-Willing and in possession of requisites for traveling (Asia and rest of the world)
- Fluent English mandatory.
- Position location is flexible.
