About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chemometrician or Data Scientist to join our team and work on projects involving spectral data analysis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in chemometrics, vibrational spectroscopy, machine learning, deep learning, variable selection methods, and analytical validation. If you are passionate about developing cutting-edge solutions in data science and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop training and predictive algorithms tailored for spectral data analysis.
- Design and implement scripts for variable selection algorithms to enhance model performance.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to gain insights and understand spectral datasets.
- Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to improve prediction models.
- Validate models and analytical methods to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Prepare regular, detailed reports summarizing analysis results and findings.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and contribute to project success.
- Exhibit critical thinking and analytical skills to address challenges and improve processes.
Profil recherché :
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Engineer or Master’s degree in Data Science, Chemistry, Chemometrics

Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of chemometrics and vibrational spectroscopy.
- Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Experience with variable selection methods and model optimization.
- Familiarity with analytical validation methods.
- Programming Skills: Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and algorithm development.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling spectral data.
