Poste :

As a Head of Sales & Marketing, your role is to contribute to PHOVA Technology development in sales, Business development, and marketing strategy, examine market opportunities, support negotiations, achieve International Negotiations, Management, Continuous Improvement. 

You will therefore be responsible for leading their team of professionals who are involved in the sales and marketing and business development activities of the company and also track market developments, create strategies, set up sales plans, and maintain customer relations.


  • Set up and manage Sales & Marketing and Business Development tendering and applications team
  • Contribute to strategic planning guiding the future of PHOVA Technology
  • Achieve monthly and yearly KPIs and Order Intake
  • Cultivate warm business and partner relationships over the phone, via email and through face-to-face meetings – increase current customer spending 
  • Lead and negotiate technical and commercial contracts
  • Grow local and international market for all products, services, and technology
  • Negotiate and establish Service agreement and call-off agreements with key customers
  • Market channels development with the concerned department 
  • Expand the company's revenue by recruiting and animating a distributor network.
  • Work across product planning, engineering, marketing, business management, sales, and ecosystem partners 
  • Identify new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation strategies by understanding consumer requirements
  • Participate in committees for strategical arbitration, participate in techno, commercial and finance discussions
  • Participate in technical sales discussions and negotiations with customers
  • Manage a team of sales, business development and marketing managers and analysts
  • Generate enquiries by paying regular visits to customers
  • Target, recruit and animate a network of distributors of the offer or part of the offer of the company. 


  • Promote the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
  • Plan and manage PHOVA Technology presence at tradeshows, fairs and other related events
  • Maintain and expand PHOVA Technology ecosystem partners
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, 
  • Able to suggest a marketing strategy for PHOVA Technology
  • Gather the competitor information
  • Integrate and establish cooperation amongst business entities
  • Lead change management and mid-range plan 
  • Understand consumer requirements, identify market trends, and suggest system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals. 
  • Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities. 
  • Solutions development and Go-To-Market including requirements creation, Statements of Work, Proof of concepts, collateral creation, develop business plan, outbound marketing, and sales trainings
  • Competitive market knowledge and analysis, teasing out the major and minor value propositions for the customer 
  • Partnership with local HR to hire new talents, coaching and mentorship
  • Recruit and train network partners 

Profil recherché :


  • Master’s degree or an advanced degree in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, Finance, or another business-related field
  • Over 12 years of proven experience, a good part of which in the hydraulic machinery industry
  • Knowledge of export sales
  • Experience of implementing sales strategy
  • Relevant experience within industrial Machinery
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Full proficiency in French, English, Arabic - another language is a plus 
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet along with the ability and willingness to learn how to use other or new business software packages as required by the role

  • Demonstrated history of achieving successful results in the rotating machinery industry

  • Good knowledge of commercial issues including payment terms, shipping terms, and contract review 
  • Knowledge and experience serving the variety of process control markets associated with the assigned products and/or region
