Junior R&D Engineer (Contrat CDD de 12 Mois)
Job/Project description:
The Biodiversity and Plant Science Program (BPS) at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is seeking a Junior R&D Engineer candidate to conduct evaluation experiments in agriculture. The objective is to perform an agro-physiological evaluation of annual crops under different treatments.
Experiments will be performed at the greenhouse and field level. Overall, above- and below-ground parameters should be assessed to make decisions on an enlarged experiment at the farmer’s level.
Main responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Collect samples from a variety of locations and plant tissues
- Plan and carry out trials at the laboratory, the greenhouse and at the field
- Record, analyze and interpret data
- Write reports
Profil recherché :
Employment terms:
This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for one year with an attractive remuneration package. Successful candidate will first be employed for one year, renewable once.
Education, qualifications and experience
Candidates should have a Master degree in Plant Sciences.
- Research experience in plant-Microbe interactions is desired.
- Superb problem-solving skills
- Able to work well in a team
- Positive attitude in changing fast-paced environments
- English communication skills.
