Position Title: Mid-Senior Graphic Designer
JOB SUMMARY
The Mid-Senior Graphic Designer will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of our organization. Leveraging their comprehensive graphic design skills, they will create impactful media products, from print to digital. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and versatility, especially in animation and motion design.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Collaboration and Project Management
- Collaborate with the communication team to understand design requirements, project specifications, and timelines.
- Manage design projects from initial conceptualization to the final production stages, ensuring alignment with the organization's brand identity.
- Regularly communicate with the communication team, providing updates, addressing feedback, and ensuring design objectives are met.
Design Creation and Strategy
- Develop innovative concepts, graphics, and layouts for a range of media products, considering aspects like fonts, imagery, readability, and the specific needs of the audience.
- Enrich designs through animation and motion design, enhancing storytelling and engagement. Determine the appropriate size, arrangement, and style of the textual and illustrative elements in a design.
- Prepare detailed rough drafts based on project specifications and team feedback
- Review and refine final design layouts, recommending improvements when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest design methodologies, software trends, and industry best practices, particularly in animation and motion graphics.
Communication and Collaboration
Coordinate with the production teams or other external collaborators, ensuring all designs are of the highest quality and delivered within stipulated deadlines. • Work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure a unified and consistent design across all channels and touchpoints.
Profil recherché :
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a graphic designer or in a related role.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and other animation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to sketch and design manually, translating hand-drawn ideas into digital formats.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities, with added proficiency in animation and motion design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and discuss design concepts effectively within a team setting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with current design trends, animation techniques, and a keen eye for detail. • A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including animation and motion design, would be preferred.
- Language skills: English as a priority.
- Mastery of social media universe.
