About ACER CoE:
The Centre was established to address enduring process challenges in Chemistry and Engineering disciplines and create an environment for interdisciplinary research. The research program of ACER is multidisciplinary with faculty members with backgrounds in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering with a focus on different research fields such as catalysis, separation, energy generation, conversion and storage, and organic optoelectronics intelligent and advanced polymers and materials.
We are looking for 2 M2 internship students interested in working in the areas of porous materials synthesis and characterization.

Topic: Preparation of porous solid adsorbents for gas or vapor adsorption

Main tasks:

Synthesis of porous materials (such as metal-organic frameworks, zeolites, or other silica-based materials)
-
characterizing the synthesized porous materials using different analytical techniques such as PXRD, FTIR, SEM, TGA, BET, etc.

Gas and vapor adsorption studies on porous materials

Profil recherché :

Criteria of the candidate: Successful candidate should
-
be enrolled in the second year of a chemistry master's program.

have a background in chemistry and related fields.

have verbal and written communication skills in English language.
