Poste :

The Opportunity

Product owner for the Consulting / Sales function's centralised data science development team, which sits within the DataLab department, part of Leyton's ICT Team.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for new development projects using consulting / Sales data (and sometimes augmented additional data) to feed Sales decisions, sales / consulting (and other functions’) teams' processes and product development workstreams and solve sales problems.
• Gather requirements for use of this data to analyse trends, faults as well as general customers behaviours.
• Breaking down and refining these requirements for the data science team's backlog through the use of functional consulting knowledge to achieve better outcomes and increase value delivered.
• Prioritise the backlog of work and requirements within the team to maximise value delivery.
• Owner of the DataLab dataset. Maintain access as well as plan and identify future development work on the dataset to better enable teams within Leyton to make better Sales, Consulting, quality and business decisions, as well as develop better Models and customer experiences (given the increased quality of information and analysis provided).
• Proactively maintain relationships with the other Data product owners ensuring transparency in work as well efficiencies in work completed, and identification of further Consulting / Sales and customer value opportunities.

Profil recherché :

What You’ll Need

Essential:

Experience identifying opportunities for data science: - Machine Learning and Analytics
Experience gathering, refining and communicating requirements
Experience developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key business and technical stakeholders

Desirable:

Experience working with Python and SQL
Experience working as a Data Scientist
