Poste :
The Africa Business School (ABS) within Mohammed IV Polytechnic University (UM6P, Morocco) is recruiting a Research Assistant in Strategic Management.
The Africa Business School is dedicated to creating a rigorous and inclusive center for the development of research and learning in the continent. Drawing on strong private and public support, and in partnership with Columbia University, HEC Paris, and Ecole Polytechnique, ABS aims to become a trendsetter for shaping the social and business landscape in Africa and beyond.
The school is seeking candidates with ambitious career goals, preferably with direct relevance for the African continent. Readiness to be a self-starter is essential.
Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Undertake supervised research which may include planning and conducting research activities in line with research protocols, including creating and maintaining data files; preparing data gathering instruments; conducting pre-tests, data collection and treatment; analyzing data using various statistical methods; and producing syntheses of research findings.
- Conduct systematic literature reviews and database searches.
- Work in conjunction with other research team members to ensure the achievement of project goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate in the production of research publications.

Priority will be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to conduct survey research. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record as a research assistant in management or similar fields.
Location: ABS has its main campus in Rabat and is a part of Mohamed IV Polytechnic University (UM6P) which is in Ben Guerir, Morocco, near Marrakesh. This position will be based in Rabat.

Profil recherché :
Required Skills:
- Experience in the use of quantitative research methods and tools
- Knowledge of survey research methods
- Competence in using statistical packages
- Experience in manipulating and cleaning datasets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
- Creativity
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Master’s degree in statistics, data science, management, economics, engineering, or similar fields with a solid numeric component
- Fluency in English, French and Arabic
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with qualitative research methods and tools
- Experience in the use of abstract and citation databases
- Familiarity with the Moroccan business environment
- Knowledge of multivariate analysis methods
- Previous experience as a research assistant in management or similar fields
- Willingness to pursue Ph.D. studies
