Job description:

One of the major concerns about existing rechargeable Li-ion battery technology is that it takes too long for recharging and is unsafe especially at fast rate of charging. Current project provides solutions for developing safe Li-ion battery technology for high power applications. Project aims to develop high performances active material for battery technology using phosphate based positive electrode material.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to conduct support to MSN research activities by performing daily tasks on battery materials. You will be part of a team of scientists, engineers, postdoctoral researchers, and students. In this position, you will be involved in the synthesis of phosphate based active material and working with advanced analytical equipment. The candidate is expected to:

  • Coordinate with other researchers as well as industry partner involved in the project.
  • Possesses general research laboratory skills, such as the ability to set up and operate lab equipment and instrumentation.
  • Assist researcher in executing scale up experiments in the lab to support key programs.
  • prepare periodic progress report and related presentation materials.

  • Brief description of your PFE project (topic, method, contribution).

Profil recherché :

Qualifications :

  • Master degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or another related technical field.
  • General Knowledge of electrochemistry and batteries.
  • Technically curious, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organization skills and capability to manage multiple priorities at once.
