African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) is seeking applications for Research Engineer in the field of Microbiology, Formulation and Biostimulants
Candidates should hold a PhD in Microbiology, Biotechnology Biostimulation
Ability to engage professionally with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students across the university and externally is required.
Evidence of research excellence is expected. Strong French and English communication skills, both verbal and written,arerequired
Key duties:
Successful candidate is expected to:
- Have a strong expertise on bacterial culture
- Expertise in applied microbiology and bioprocesses.
- Proficiency in fermentation techniques and microbial formulation.
- Skills in physicochemical, biochemical, and microbiological analysis.
- Ability to design and conduct experiments.
- Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration with researchers and farmers
- Publish the results of personal and sponsored research in international journals referred to by his/her peers.
Profil recherché :
Criteria of the candidate:
- Engineering degree or PhD in microbial biotechnology, applied microbiology, or bioprocesses.
- Experience in microorganism production and formulation.
- Knowledge of current regulations in the field of biofertilizers and biostimulants.
- Ability to generate new ideas, links, and to build upon existing ideas to generate good concepts and solutions to the development of sustainable agriculture
- High publication record in leading international and well ranked journals
