About MSDA
The Modeling, Simulation and Data Analysis (MSDA) is a Research Program on mathematical and phenomenological modeling, numerical simulation and data analysis.
The entity is structured around three axes :
- Phenomenological modeling
- Numerical simulation
- Statistical modeling and data analysis
The MSDA plans to reach its potential by addressing industrial issues, as well as the needs of Moroccan and African economic actors. To achieve these objectives, the entity relies on professors and experts who carry out projects of ultimate importance and train doctoral students and engineers in disciplines at the crossroads between Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Statistics and Data and Scientific Computing.

For an on-going Research-Action project , the MSDA research teams is looking for a Senior Economic Analyst to join the project team for a 4-month fixed term contract.
The senior economic analyst will have the responsability of setting KPI’ s for all social and economical actions that are part of the Research-Action and analysing the outcomes of strategical, economical or financial decisions made by the team and formulate recomendations.
In other hand, the economic analyst will have the responsability of performing a market study and of gathering data about the industrial sector corresponding to ‘data labbelling for AI applications’ in Morocco and the region.
Finnaly, she/he will conduct a research on the legal and fiscal aspects related to the business and formulate solutions to address specifities related to legal monetary, fiscal and hiring policies.
The candidate should be able to process and interpret complex analyses into understandable reports to present and explain to diverse audiences.
Madatory experience
- Experience in social entrepreunership is mandatory for this mission.
- Entrepreunership experience is also highly apreciated.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Msc level degree in Finance, Marketing or management.
- 5 year experience in entrepneurship or in accompaining entrepreneurs.
- Experience in Social Entrepreunership.
- Experience in business planning for entrepreneurial projects and fund raising.
