Poste :
The main objective of this thesis is to produce reactive nitrogen carrier solids with properties suitable for ammonia synthesis in chemical loops. The aim is to develop a new class of materials with high reactivity and improved chemical and mechanical stability, capable of carrying out ammonia synthesis at low pressure.
Candidate profile
The PhD student's role will be to develop a new process for producing ammonia under more benign conditions. This work is multidisciplinary and will be based on materials development and catalytic reactivity tests and characterizations.
Prerequisites: master’s degree or engineering school in chemistry and chemistry-physics.
Skills and aptitudes:
Solid knowledge of materials synthesis.
Good knowledge of heterogeneous catalysis.
Experience in gas-phase reactions.
Knowledge of solid materials analysis techniques (XRD, IR, NMR, BET, etc.).
Computer skills (Excel, Word, Origin, PowerPoint, etc.).
Fluency in scientific English and French.
