Missions and responsibilities

As a Venturing merger & acquisition associate, your role is to contribute to UM6P venturing and investment strategy, examine market opportunities, and support negotiations M&A activities. You will therefore evaluate the best strategies for buying, divesting, or combining subsidiaries based on current financial reports, business trends, and UM6P strategy.

Reporting to the M&A senior manager and the head of Entrepreneurship & Venturing, you are going to be in charge of the following missions:

- Developing detailed analyses and financial models used for valuation purposes

- Developing various industry analyses, including market trends, key growth drivers, and industry dynamics

- Monitoring financial markets to identify new opportunities for growth or threats to portfolio companies' performances

- Leading due diligence process and coordinating related workstreams

- Coordinating with different stakeholders, evaluating various projects, and recommending revenue growth measures.

- Analyzing the impact of mergers and acquisitions on UM6P and/or portfolio companies' performances

- Identifying and reviewing potential acquisition targets based on criteria set by senior management

- Participating in legal negotiations process with lawyers, accountants, bankers, and other professional advisors

- Preparing confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, and board presentations

- Creating presentations and reports for senior management regarding deal status and impact on UM6P strategic goals

- Preparing detailed company profiles and analysis, compiling and maintaining the database
