Virtual Tutor Of Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Benguerir

As part of the "Digital Hubs" project, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) Lab of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, in collaboration with TechnoServe, is launching a call for applications to recruit a "Virtual Tutor."

Job Summary:

The Virtual Tutor is responsible for guiding, motivating, and supporting entrepreneurs enrolled in the TechnoServe EdTech projects, ensuring they complete their business growth journey through TechnoServe’s learning platforms. The Virtual Tutor provides technical support, guidance and will monitor participants' progress to ensure they meet their learning goals. Additionally, the Virtual Tutor plays a key role in implementing strategies to enhance the user experience by gathering feedback and proposing continuous improvements to the EdTech product.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guidance and Monitoring: Provide customized and group follow-up with entrepreneurs through different channels to ensure learning progress.
• Credential Management: Coordinate the access to our online platform, ensuring entrepreneurs have all the necessary information to start their courses.
• Motivation and Reminders: Send motivational messages and reminders, encouraging progress and course completion along their learning experience.
• Learning Path Assignment: Assign learning paths tailored to each entrepreneur’s business needs, adjusting content to optimize their development process.
• Progress Monitoring: Conduct daily and weekly monitoring of entrepreneurs' progress, analyzing usage and satisfaction metrics, and ensuring established milestones are met.
• Red Flags Management: Identify and manage entrepreneurs showing low performance or technical issues, providing personalized support and immediate solutions to any technological or personal barriers they face.
• Reports and Analysis: Prepare monthly reports with key metrics (MEL) related to user progress, satisfaction, and platform usage, presenting insights and continuous improvement proposals.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to users for proper platform usage and guide entrepreneurs in their educational progress, offering personalized advice based on their needs.
• Product Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the user experience through behavior studies, user feedback collection, and benchmarking analysis, proposing new actions and adjustments to content and teaching methods.
• Collaboration with marketing team: Work with the marketing team to ensure that communication with users is effective and engaging, promoting continued participation on the platform.
• Collaboration with the TechnoServe EdTech team: maintain consistent follow-up with the TechnoServe EdTech team to ensure that activities, processes, and product improvements are implemented in alignment with the broader goals and standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in the field of entrepreneurship.
• Experience analyzing user satisfaction and usage metrics.
• Experience in training programs for small and medium enterprises.
• Familiarity with engagement and motivation strategies in educational platforms.
• Previous experience in technical support and providing personalized guidance to users in virtual environments.

Languages Required:

• Advanced English

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related fields.
• 2 years of experience in tutoring or coordination of online training programs.
• Previous experience with LMS platforms (Learning Management Systems) such as TalentLMS, Moodle, or similar.
• Advanced communication skills (both oral and written) and experience in managing virtual communities.
• Proficiency in digital tools, including social media and messaging platforms.
