Freight, customs & Logistics cost optimization : Supervise the communication between brokers for arriving information, the activities for inbound and outbound document preparation and customs clearance follow up, Follow the transportation damage and loss claims, Continious seeking of logistics cost optimization opportunities in inbound and outboud flows, Define the optimum logistics flow for the new supply chaines in inbound and outbound, Ensure and follow cost recovery from forwarders, Alert all risks on transportation and customs ( delay , bad weather , strike ...) to planning and procurement teams and take the necessary actions to secure deliveries in inbound and in outbound.
Freight Invoices Validation / Management reporting : Validate the freight invoices by comparing the agreed freight quotes with the ones in the freight invoices, Check with the financial department the situation of the overdue invoices and analyse the RC and put in place the adiquate actions, Ensure the monthly transportation reports, Ensure the monthly premium cost reports, Reporte and analyzing the logistics cost.
Work Organization & team management : Lead import / export team, Prepare/ review / impove procedures, trainning documents and work tools for import/export service, Coach planners to increase their productivity and positive reactivity, Ensure good and safe climate among import/export team, support the budget preparation activity, Set goals or the team and follow their achievement, Evaluate the performance and the discipline of the team.
Requierd skills :
